Established in 1951 in Witham, Essex, and serving the local towns in Witham, Braintree, Chelmsford, Colchester and local communities including Kelvedon, Hatfield Peveral, Feering, White Notley, Black Notley and with far wider clients based in America, France, Germany, Austria, Yugoslavia, Holland, and elsewhere, Conway Fielden Gough is a successful independent firm of chartered accountants.

Directors

Our directors’ come from general practice backgrounds and our teams’ complementary specialisms, based on far wider experience than most firms our size, mean we can deal with a wide variety of business and personal situations comfortably. Paul Conway FCA - Director paul.conway@vgc.co.uk Paul Conwayhas been the partner/director in overall charge of this office for over twenty five years. First as a partner within Bland Fielden and then in the 17 partner combined firm of Scrutton Bland where he was the firms IT partner. In 1998 Paul and the other directors’ took over the entire Witham office, staff and clients. Paul specialises in agriculture, professions, tax planning and IT. Yvonne Gough - Director FCCA Yvonne.gough@vgc.co.uk Yvonne Gough joined this office in 1996. She had originally trained with Butt Cozens and gained experience there and with other firms including Taylor Viney Marlow. Yvonne has wide audit and management accounting experience. David Verney BSc FCA - Director mail@vgc.co.uk David Verney joined in 1998, from Scrutton Bland, Ipswich, Suffolk, specialises in solicitors, pension schemes & IT.
